The first thing you notice on this Caledon home is its choreography of shapes. A graceful eyebrow curve crowns the second-storey window, while the main level keeps its lines purposeful and straight. We replaced 15 windows and added one Euro door, using slim black profiles that tighten the composition and make every opening feel intentional.
A storyline in shapes
The upper curve softens the elevation and draws the eye upward. Below, tall rectangles anchor the entry and living areas, and wide picture windows frame backyard views without visual clutter. We kept the glass uninterrupted to let reflections do the detail work. Morning clouds and evening trees read like artwork on a calm, dark frame.

Black where it matters
The exterior is a warm mix of stone and stucco, so we leaned into contrast. Black window frames echo the roof and garage, sharpening the silhouette and giving the home a modern edge. The result is crisp without feeling cold. The darker outlines also make landscaping pop. Ferns and seasonal planters look richer against the deeper trim.

Colour with intention
At the entry, a saturated blue door becomes the house’s exclamation mark. It is a small move with outsized impact. Because the window sightlines are disciplined and the frames are all black, the single hit of colour reads as curated rather than busy. Inside, the larger panes amplify natural light, so floors and finishes can carry softer tones without losing brightness.

Living to the backyard
The Euro door’s slim black profile opens toward the pool and patio, keeping sightlines low and elegant. From the kitchen, the view feels like a wide photograph. Step outside and the geometry continues, with square windows and planters repeating the rhythm established at the front.

From the homeowner
“I couldn’t have asked for better installers. Oleg and Vitaly were thoughtful, tidy, and precise.”
